The last several weeks have been busy for Local 1620, with representatives traveling across the island, Canada, and beyond to advocate for and represent members, build relationships, share knowledge and experiences, and help shape the future of our union and industry.
📍 Washington – Construction and Maintenance Conference
📍 Toronto – Atlantic Utilities Council Meeting
📍 Niagara Falls – All Canada Progress Meeting
📍 Newfoundland – Collective Bargaining Meetings
📍 Regina – Canadian Utility Safety Program Meeting
Along the way, our team participated in discussions on major infrastructure and energy projects, collective bargaining priorities, workplace safety, mental health, leadership development, and the future of the electrical industry.
Every meeting, conference, presentation, and conversation helps ensure Local 1620 remains informed, engaged, and ready to represent the interests of our members.
Thank you to everyone who participated and helped make these events a success.
